I.J. Fox Building is built.

Architect: Shepard & Stearns Associates. Designed in the Art Deco style, it is located at 407 – 411 Washington Street. Subsequently occupied by furrier I.J. Fox and then a Strawberries record store, the building is converted to residential use in 2014.*
